The New Zealand Law Society CLE will be running its annual Litigation Skills Programme in August/September this year. As you may remember, this is a course designed to improve the courtroom skills of lawyers throughout New Zealand.
The final day of the course is where the participants present a case in front of a real High Court or District Court Judge and we are seeking members of the public, age 18 and over, who would be interested in volunteering to take part in the mock trials as jurors.
The mock trials will be held on Saturday 1 September 2018, from 8.30am to 5.10pm at the Christchurch District Court. This is an interesting day and a great chance to hear some of New Zealand’s future top lawyers in action. Morning and afternoon teas and a buffet lunch will be provided.
